FIM cast s.r.l.
is an integrated foundry specialized in grey cast iron and nodular cast iron with over 50 years of excellence.
It is situated in Segusino (Treviso, Italy), near to the famous Prosecco production area of Valdobbiadene, a business strategic position for northern Italy and middle Europe markets.
FIM cast’s main features are the high quality products and the careful customer services like the cooperation in the projects and “just in time” deliveries.
The annual castings output is about 12.000 ton of grey and ductile iron thanks to two casting departments.
A green sand automatic moulding plant with 550x550x200+200 mm box is used for 0,1 Kg - 40 Kg castings, while a brand-new sand-resin moulding plant produces 40 Kg - 1000 Kg castings with 1250x1600x520+520 mm maximum moulds.
FIM cast s.r.l.
is equipped with a sand-blasting, a fettling (partially robotized), a painting division and a cores production plant totally dedicated to internal supply.
On request castings can also be supplied finished by mechanical machining.
A qualified technical office and a quality control division support the entire production and finishing process.
