The Social Responsibility Charter

Charter of Values
This section is the “heart” of Trevisobellunosystem.

Here, you can consult the values that inspire the portal and which have been transcribed in “The Trevisobellunosystem Charter of Values,” winner of national and international awards in its first edition in 2009 and, in its second edition in 2021, accompanied by distinguished comments from authorities and ministers who have shared the value of responsible and respectful communication. It has been a real privilege for us to receive such high-profile and insightful comments.

We have therefore decided to share these reflections in order to continue our journey together with those who wish to take part in this important communication project.

Hon. Giancarlo Giorgetti
Minister of Economic Development 2021-2022

One cannot fail to appreciate the values that your community pursues: listening, respect, and collaboration are the inspiration and goal of daily activities.
Ensuring that people who turn to the institution find a partner who complies with these principles can only be a source of pride, even more so when recognition is brought to the highest levels.
With the certainty that this spirit will continue to distinguish you in the future and with the hope that you will achieve what already defines you in your header: beauty and enterprise.

The Charter of Values of the Chamber of Commerce portal, recently updated and revised but with older and more appreciated origins (the first edition was published twelve years ago), is an interesting and highly regarded document, in particular because it demonstrates an awareness of and need for an ethical approach closely linked to the digital experience pursued here, in order to convey transparent and effective communication but also to stimulate a greater sense of responsibility and shared commitment in everyone.
The very concept of ‘corporate social responsibility’ (and that of the entrepreneur) connotes a set of virtues that require not only personal involvement but also that of an entire community, a territory, and the wider network of people and entities concerned. All this undoubtedly falls within the “mission” of the Chamber of Commerce, which is institutionally aimed at enhancing, promoting, and networking the resources of the territory, operating specifically at the service of businesses, entrepreneurs, and the entire world of work in its area, according to a logic of subsidiarity and solidarity that the social doctrine of the Church itself supports and recommends.
While the technological revolution has profoundly changed the way we work and communicate, as well as relationships between people, it is true that today, as much as and more than yesterday, every area of existence—including the fundamental segments of work, business, the economy, social life, networks of contacts, and relationships between different organizations—requires an ever greater and more concrete (daily) sense of responsibility and humanity in order to establish bonds of positive interconnection.
The world of business and work is therefore also called upon to cultivate a global vision and a new sense of fraternity and social friendship, in the awareness that others belong to me and that we are all part of the same social body; in a global reality, moreover, only “together” can we truly guarantee ourselves.
A will and intelligence capable of behaviors and decisions supported by an ethical vision that respects human dignity and value, and economic and social planning that desires the good (both one’s own and that of others) always enriches everyone. It is therefore very appreciable that those who offer services and support to these strategic sectors feel fully involved and committed to this common challenge.

Significant appreciation should be given to those who created the ”Charter of Values“ which, from a ”Charter of Rights and Duties,“ has become a highly useful ”Operating Charter.”
Detailed, precise, easy to understand, and born from a brilliant intuition, today it is a tool to be disseminated, implemented, and replicated.
It constitutes an action plan that, with well-defined paths, points the way to success through an interactive mode of connection and mutual alliances to multiply managerial, cultural, and business interests.

The renewed value of the Chamber today is to design the best possible international commercial network by uniting and strengthening the excellence of our territories.
Digital technology offers each of our companies the unique opportunity for a new start, but also the duty to provide clarity of message with swift and appropriate responses.
he Treviso-Belluno|Dolomites Chamber of Commerce was the first to embrace our think tank, which was founded in Greenwich, Connecticut, and then developed in New York with the digital marketplace platform “Piazza Italia.” Today, this platform allows our Veneto region, the Land of Venice, to face new international challenges with valid principles and the fundamental means to overcome them.
Sincere thanks to President Pozza and Silvia Trevisan for their continued support.

The Chamber of Commerce is responsible for the harmonious and sustainable development of Treviso and Belluno, and the values contained in the Charter of its territorial marketing portal well represent the spirit and initiative of our companies, made up of people who listen to the needs of various stakeholders, creating products and services of “value” for the whole world.
Companies that make their mix of experiences an example of social inclusion. Businesses that use digital tools to innovate traditional knowledge. Businesses that network to proudly promote ‘Made in Italy’ and the ‘beauty’ of our territories. I believe that this Charter represents an important point of reference for the community and an ethical stimulus for more inclusive and equal economic recovery strategies. I am proud to be able to actively contribute to this prestigious institution.

Renato Chahinian
Former Secretary General of the Treviso Chamber of Commerce, expert in economics and finance for local development and sustainable development

The Treviso and Belluno Chamber of Commerce has always been committed to excellence in its activities and has received many awards and recognitions over the years.
Among these, it is important to mention the Charter of Values, which involved the vision and mission of the entire organization and was particularly evident in the information and communication service of Trevisobellunosystem, a service that has now become firmly established in the socio-economic information landscape at the local level.
In essence, the function of this important tool is not only to provide news about what is happening or about to happen in our territory, but also and above all to select and highlight the most relevant and useful information, in this day and age when there is an excess of communication that often overshadows the information we need most.
Even more significant, however, is the communicative contribution of values that should increasingly distinguish our work as producers and consumers in a virtuous approach to sustainable development, according to which we can all enjoy greater well-being. These are not, therefore, merely formal values, but values of substance that serve to promote ethical and collective growth, which the service constantly seeks to bring to the attention of all readers.

I find it very interesting that among the other important values mentioned for the creation of the portal are internationalization and relations with Chambers of Commerce abroad. I believe that, together with issues such as regional development, sustainability, transparency, and others, international trade is also a priority for the growth and development of companies associated with the Treviso-Belluno Chamber of Commerce, in a region that has historically been devoted to exports.

Congratulations, really good work. Investing in the community, data analysis and communication, dialogue and interaction with public administrations, citizens, businesses, and stakeholders is very important. It is a useful tool for providing a complete account of your activities and for gathering ideas, projects, and value brought by all the territories involved. It is a tool for digital transformation, which is increasingly necessary and even more important when combined with sustainability. As the PA Social Association, we are also promoting an increasingly mature, conscious, and high-quality approach to digital technology and the many platforms available. The work of the Treviso-Belluno Chamber of Commerce with its new Charter of Values is certainly moving in this direction.

Elena
Coordinator, VOLUNTEER IN THE WORLD Social Cooperative ONLUS

Hello everyone,
My name is Elena and I am the Coordinator of a young Social Cooperative ONLUS: Volunteer In The World, based in Bologna and London.

I believe it is important and interesting that a public administration’s website talks about the values of accessibility, communication, the local area, respect for human resources, speed of response, and much more.
Working with many young people of different nationalities, I know how important it is to make people feel “welcome,” and the Charter of Values does just that.
I hope that the “Charter of Values” of the Territorial Marketing portal of the Treviso-Belluno Chamber of Commerce, as it has been structured, will be an example that all Chambers of Commerce can follow.
Thank you.
