One of the most daring constructions in the Dolomites, nestled in the Pian de la Tenda, a wide rocky inlet 236 metres south of the Grande Civetta, the Rifugio Torrani is a true eagle\'s nest for those who undertake the ascent to the summit of the mountain or the traverse from the Rifugio Coldài to the Vazzolèr and vice versa.
From the summit there is a spectacular panorama, and the sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking.
