Description
The Valmorel Dairy is located in the center of the village of the same name.
Founded in 1939, its cheese-making facility has been in continuous operation, processing the milk supplied by its members.
The cheeses produced, all of recognized quality, are included in the list of traditional products of the Veneto Region.
The Valmorel Dairy is a unique agricultural cooperative in that it is the last remaining active turnaria dairy in the province of Belluno.
Turnaria means that the dairy processes the milk supplied, transforms it, and returns the dairy products to the members, who, in turn, collaborate with the cheesemaker in the milk processing activity.
