Pinot Noir is one of the most sensitive grape varieties—and therefore one of the most difficult to cultivate—but at the same time, it can yield wonderful results when grown in clay-limestone soil and vinified with a restrained, respectful, and tailored approach.
Katja was born in Codenzano and knows her land down to the smallest detail.
Her passion for wine led her to become a sommelier.
Her love for her homeland inspired her to rebuild the dry-stone terraces of the family’s ancient vineyard, replant the vineyard with selected Pinot Noir vines, and open a winery to produce a great wine on her own.
