The company, with a workforce of 35 employees, works predominantly in the wine sector, but also in the oil and food industry, with a totally customised production that is design-led, green and innovative.

S.BIAGIO, 25 JUNE – Forty years and counting. If not for the experience and skills acquired over decades.
Founded in 1984 in Silea, since 2000 based in the industrial area of San Biagio di Callalta (province of Treviso), Trecieffe Snc is a company established and run by the Crosato family that deals with the design, construction and installation of stainless steel tanks for the wine, oil, dairy, food, chemical and tobacco sectors. Over time, the company has made a name for itself and become influential in the market, working for example with all the best wineries and oil mills in northern and central Italy. The company’s average turnover is around EUR 7 million, with an increasing trend.

“Here with us, production is practically all customised, made-to-measure, always trying to meet the needs and requests of the customer, who for Trecieffe is a fundamental partner, with whom we collaborate in full harmony, starting with the design and study of the product, with flexibility, respect for deadlines, excellent quality, and punctual after-sales assistance”.

The founders of Trecieffe, who are still involved in the company today, are Ivo, Antonio and Zeno Crosato, together with their nephew Vincenzo Frau, who have been joined by the second generation for a few years now, which has brought first and foremost openness towards foreign markets (such as Austria, France, Canada and Russia), technological innovation and a green approach.

ISO 9001 certification came into the company exactly twenty years ago, while two years ago Trecieffe presented the Virtual Innovation project at the Simei (International Oenological and Bottling Machinery Exhibition), Milan edition. That is, a new 3D tool, totally immersive, which consists in the virtual simulation of real environments and structures in which the customer can ‘enter’ before they are actually realised (e.g. a wine cellar) – becoming aware of the real dimensions, distances, heights, overall dimensions – thus speeding up the decision-making, design and construction processes. “Thanks to the use of peripherals, such as a viewer and controller,” explain Trecieffe engineers, “it is possible to enter the cellar before it is even built. It is an artificial intelligence application in which we have invested and believe a lot’.

Two other particularly innovative, patented projects, in which Trecieffe is a protagonist, are ‘Aromy’, developed in collaboration with the University of Florence, a process that allows the temperature of the CO2 released during fermentation of the grapes to be controlled: by working at the right temperature, it is possible to condense the aromas and retain the aromas of the must. The second patent is ‘Nectar’, created together with two other Italian companies in the sector: it allows significant energy savings, reducing environmental impact, by exploiting the motor that enables it to function, i.e. the CO2 from fermentation.

In short, a company with a certified history, already largely projected into the future, with vision and strategic approach.
