Belluno, 19th July 2018. The Treviso-Belluno Chamber of Commerce, in agreement with Unioncamere and in cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany, is committed in
the organization of the initiative “Mechanic supply in Germany Workshop“.
The initiative was wanted in order to reinforce the traditional manufacturing cooperation between local companies and German industrial customers – says the Treviso-Belluno Chamber of
Commerce President Mario Pozza -. A considerable appreciation goes to the entrepreneurs of the local supply sector that thanks to their entrepreneurial competence, the variety of
production specializations created, they were able to reach great performances in the supply sector also in the recent crisis years.
Next 28th September, in the frame of the Road Show “Italy meets German buyers”, it is scheduled a b2b meetings day with German buyers selected by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany.
The initiative targets the mechanic supply companies of Treviso and Belluno Provinces that present a strong company structure and organization. The minimum requirements are 10 employees and
1 Million Euros turnover.
The selection of the enterprises that can take part to the meetings will be realized by the German buyers, based on the information provided by the local interested enterprises in their company
profiles.
The meetings will be scheduled and will take place at the Treviso Chamber premises.
The deadline to join the b2b meetings is 24th July 2018. The interested companies can request to the Ufficio Promozione Estero of Treviso-Belluno Chamber of Commerce (Office for
Foreign Promotion) the company profiles of the German buyers selected, the application form and any further information.
In 2017 the companies from Treviso and Belluno sold on the German market goods amounting 149,5 Million Euros, with an increase by 22% in comparison to 2016. The Treviso and Belluno Provinces,
together, rank the 10th place among the Italian Provinces for metal products export to Germany.
It is worth remembering that the mechanic supply companies benefit directly of the international demand and indirectly of the good foreign markets trend of the local contract. The German
market is the most relevant one for the main supply chains linked to the mechanic supply, in particular machinery and household appliances.
If such sectors were able, in this crisis decade, to maintain and gain in competitiveness at international level, it is also because they can count on supply companies that were able to
re-organize and innovate their production in order to face the foreign competition.
