The Belluno Dolomites are turning red and black. From July 27 to 31, AC Milan’s Women’s First Team will be in Belluno for a training camp in preparation for the new season.

This is a major sporting and tourist event for the region, made possible by the partnership between Clivet and AC Milan and in collaboration with Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti. The two organizations have actively cooperated at the forefront as leaders of the entire initiative, jointly steering the complex organizational effort and coordinating synergy with the local business community.

This training camp demonstrates how synergy between industry, sports, and community organizations can generate value for our region – comments Stefano Bellò, CEO of Clivet. – We’re not just hosting a great team; we’re demonstrating that when the Belluno area works together, it can attract national excellence. Precisely for this reason, during the event, we’ll have the pleasure of involving outstanding female athletes from our region, sending a strong message to young people and the entire community: beyond doing business, as a company we want to convey and share positive messages and values. Clivet has always believed in young people and local talent; after hosting the meeting with Laura Fusetti in Belluno, we immediately realized it was essential to bring these messages of growth and inspiration to all the young women in our region.

This event – comments Lorraine Berton, President of Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti – is the result of genuine teamwork among local businesses, institutions, and associations. It demonstrates that when a community shares a common goal and works together, it can attract initiatives of national significance and transform them into opportunities for growth for everyone. At Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti, we believe that sports are not just about competition, but also a powerful tool for economic development, regional promotion, and social cohesion. Events like this generate value for businesses, enhance the appeal of the Belluno Dolomites, and convey an important message to young people: talent, commitment, and teamwork are the foundations upon which a community’s future is built.

The idea took root during the most recent Sport Business Forum in Belluno, organized by Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti, where Clivet presented the testimony of Laura Fusetti, a former player and current team manager of the Milan-based team. Since then, a well-oiled organizational machine has been set in motion, involving the direct participation of the Industrialists’ Association, which was able to mobilize its contacts and members to create an exceptional hosting experience.

The training camp is a perfect example of institutional and entrepreneurial “teamwork.” The women’s soccer players will hold their athletic training sessions in Belluno and will practice at the “Umberto Orzes” soccer field in Ponte nelle Alpi, thanks to a partnership with the club chaired by Enrico Collarin and vice chair Luigi De Pra. For all fans and supporters, there will be a wonderful opportunity to attend at least one open training session.

Special thanks go to all the local organizations and partner companies that have actively collaborated, providing not only the main facilities (the field and gym) but also specialized equipment for the athletes’ post-workout recovery, such as the two Buran cryotherapy tanks, a project by IMAP in Sedico.

On Wednesday, July 29, at 3:30 p.m., Clivet will host an exclusive event at its headquarters featuring local sports associations, with a particular focus on soccer and women’s sports. The panel will feature Team Manager Laura Fusetti and a delegation from the team, led by captain Christy Grimshaw, who will share valuable insights into the historic transition of women’s soccer from amateur to professional status. The event will address topics with significant social and motivational impact: the importance of believing in one’s dreams, the ability to handle criticism, including that from the media and social media, and the determination to overcome gender biases in sectors traditionally considered male-dominated. The event will be followed by a session dedicated to questions from the press and the public, as well as an autograph signing.

Also at Clivet, in addition to the press conference, there will be a meeting for companies on the topic of “gender equality” and the role of women in complex organizations, whether they be companies, institutions, or sports teams. A previously unpublished survey on this topic, commissioned by Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti and conducted by Fondazione Nord Est—will be presented. Logistical details and press accreditation procedures for the event at Clivet will be announced in the coming days.
