Venice, 6th November 2018 | Luca Zaia, President of Veneto Region and Mario Pozza, President of Unioncamere del Veneto and Nuovo Centro Estero Veneto,
they have opened this morning the new premises of the Association Nuovo Centro Estero of the Venetian Chambers of Commerce and of the regional Unioncamere. They are both located at Edificio Lybra
in PST Vega, via delle Industrie 19/C-D in Marghera (Venice).
In the presence of Presidents and Secretaries of the Venetian Chambers of Commerce, Presidents of the Special Agencies and partecipated bodies, Presidents of Federations and regional and provincial
trade Associations, Zaia and Pozza have introduced the operational fields, the aims and the activities of the Association established on 27th March 2018 between the Venice-Rovigo and
Treviso-Belluno Chambers of Commerce, to support the Venetian economic system in the frame of the regional law 48 of 29th December 2018 and the triennial Programme Agreement 2018-2020
between Region and Venetian Chambers of Commerce. Among the objectives of Nuovo Centro Estero Veneto there are the economic promotion towards foreign markets and the internationalization
of companies thorugh the participation, representing Veneto Region, at the main sectoral fairs, the organization of entrepreneurial business visits and training events for entrepreneurs, becoming
point of reference for the attraction of foreign investments and the promotion of tourism and territories.
«Today is an important kick off for internationalization with the Nuovo Centro Estero Veneto start – says President Mario Pozza -. Thanks to the strong partnership
with Veneto Region, we have relaunched an organization with a human capital that deeply knows the Venetian context, which will be able to support small-medium enterprises from all sectors,
from the primary to the production activities, to tourism and services in facing foreign markets with responsibility. In the same way, also the opening of Unioncamere Veneto new premises
states a new start after the Statute reform. The entity is going to coordinate shortly the provincial economic choices, in the frame of a far-sighted comprehensive strategy”.

Regions and Chambers of Commerce are useful because they work following a business vision, with healthy financials and at disposal of companies and citizens. Our micro and small enterprises model
allowed to effectively facing the crisis, even if there were about 200 entrepreneurs that killed themselves. We are waiting that Rome decreases bureaucracy and give us autonomy. We do not have to
forget that all democratic Countries presenting a growing GDP, they are Countries with a federal structure».
At the end of the presentation, there was the traditional ribbon cutting. Don
Fabrizio Favaro, Episcopal Vicar for economic affairs of Venice Patriarchate, he has blessed the spaces that will host Nuovo Centro Estero of the Chambers of Commerce and Unioncamere del
Veneto.
Unioncamere Veneto is the first regional association entity to be reconstituted after the reform in 2016, with the accession of the five reginal Chamber of Commerce.
