ALSO A GREAT SUCCESS ON SUNDAY 9 JULY IN CISON DI VALMARINO
On the afternoon of Sunday 9 July, in the archpriest’s church of Cison di Valmarino, the concert of the Piccola Orchestra Veneta and its Soloists, conducted by the director Giancarlo Nadai, was a great success in terms of participation and appreciation on the part of a very large audience, including those from outside the province, who packed the splendid sacred building in Cison. A veritable jubilation of applause accompanied the performances of the musicians, who masterfully interpreted pieces by Tartini, Shostakovich, Vivaldi and Stevanato. Particular mention must be made of the brilliant performances by the soloists, which were underscored by warm applause: Mattia Tonon on violin, Lorenzo Stevanato on flute and the soprano Nabila Dandara, who thrilled the audience, each for their part and in the originality of their specific contribution to the wonderful harmonies of the Piccola Orchestra Veneta. Heartfelt words of appreciation for the concert and the IBT review came from the archpriest Don Luca Maria Bronzini in his opening greeting, while the IBT scientific director, Marco Zabotti, thanked all those who are doing their utmost to make the review a great success, contributing to a great and effective teamwork. On the occasion, Councillor Cristina Munno represented the municipal administration of Cison di Valmarino, which sponsored the event, skilfully presented by Elisa Nadai, who was also the narrator, while the art expert Giuliano Ros spoke at the beginning of the concert, illustrating in an appreciated synthesis the reasons for the special beauty and appeal of the eighteenth-century archpriest’s house in Cison.
