Treviso, Sept. 17, 2023 – From Majano to Mira, Treviso continues reaping successes. Eight days after its success (for the third year in a row) in the prestigious Friulian event, a Treviso youth representative also came out on top in the third stage of the Trofeo Veneto march and road race, an event that saw six provincial selections at the under-16 level from the region at the start today in Mira, in province of Venice. In the march, victories for Paolo Sozza (Atl. Ponzano) among the cadets and Aurora Oricchio (Vittorio Atletica) among the girls, where she finished ahead of only Caterina Carissimi from Lombardy (and therefore out of the rankings for the Veneto Trophy). Then the second place of Davide Da Re (Vittorio Atletica) among cadets and the silver-bronze combo achieved by Anita Marogna (Vittorio Atletica) and Maria Beatrice Nieto (Atl. Montebelluna) among cadets. In running, however, Martina Bianchin‘s (Atl. Ponzano) success among the girls and Arianna Cesca‘s (Atl. Silca Conegliano) bronze among the cadets. Podiums therefore in large numbers, with reflection on the day’s team standings that saw Treviso precede, in order, Venice and Padua. The winning streak continues.
