With the regional council’s green light on the consolidated budget, we can start the discussion on the next economic and financial maneuver. We have three months to analyze all the interventions that will be part of the 2024-2026 budget law. This was said by Regional Councillor for Budget and Planning, Francesco Calzavara, commenting on the approval in the Regional Council of the final balance sheet document that makes transparent the economic, patrimonial and financial results deriving from the overall management carried out by the Veneto Region Group, understood as a single entity.
Compared to the 2021 perimeter, two additional companies already present in the Public Administration Group, GAP, were included: Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico S.p.A., which took over the concession from Autovie Venete spa in implementation of D.G.R. No. 1437/2022 of periodic rationalization of shareholdings and whose process was completed in 2023; Società Infrastrutture Milano Cortina 2020-2026 spa, established on November 22, 2021 with first year of operation ending on December 31, 2022.
As of December 31, 2022, the Group current assets were of 12,135,714,887.75 euros; with 2,965,233,672.84 euros of net worth and a positive operating result of 119,302,297.99 euros.
Making public and comparable the accounts of 31 entities including instrumental bodies and agencies, companies, subsidiaries and associated companies of the Veneto Region is a moral duty to the citizens of Veneto – Calzavara continues – Our mission is to make all financial activity increasingly understandable by demonstrating, with data in hand, that we are a Region with accounts in order. And the good example is also reflected in the instrumental entities and bodies, companies, subsidiaries and associated companies, which give the overview of an increasingly transparent Veneto with their financial statements.
