The Veneto section of the Register of Environmental Managers, ‘LIBERA: Associazioni, nomi e numeri contro le mafie APS” and Unioncamere Veneto have signed a protocol on legality, environment and economy, the purpose of which is, among other objectives, the realisation of training courses aimed at promoting the prevention and fight against economic crime and the restoration of legality in the environmental sphere, through actions supporting a greater culture of legality and the ethics of responsibility in the economic system and in business activities.
The Veneto section is organising:
3 days entirely dedicated to the theme of Legality, for the environment and the economy, during which the methodologies of criminal infiltration in the economy of the territory and the tools to combat them, the themes of the new frontiers of financial crimes, money laundering, usury and cryptocurrencies will be addressed.
There will be speeches by journalists and experts on the subject, as well as direct testimonies by entrepreneurs who have not succumbed to pressure from criminal associations.
To conclude, a conference will be held on the subject of environmental legality, the actions taken for environmental restoration and the tools that institutions can activate for the dissemination of virtuous practices and behaviour, regulatory compliance and sustainable management for the benefit of territorial communities, in collaboration with the police for territorial control activities.
