On Wednesday, November 26, a press conference was held at the Chamber of Commerce in Treviso to present the designs, renderings, and panoramic views of the new chamber headquarters, whose concept and architectural design was created by architect Gianfranco Trabucco and his collaborators: Luana Tonon, Stefano Falcier, Andrea Lobbia, and Sofia Menegazzi.
The press conference was attended by Mario Pozza, President of the Treviso-Belluno Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce, Mario Conte, Mayor of Treviso, Francesco Rossato, Deputy Secretary General, Romano Tiozzo, Secretary General, and architect Gianfranco Trabucco and his colleagues.
During the presentation, the conceptual value that guided the design of the new headquarters was illustrated: a project that aims to bring vitality and livability to a central area of the city, redeveloping it not only from the point of view of the chamber structure, but also in its relationship with public gardens and the urban context, creating new spaces for good living.
The new Chamber of Commerce is designed as an open and dynamic place, capable of representing an important space for living and sharing for the city, with offices, residences, restaurants, and bars, in a continuous dialogue between institution and community.
Architect Trabucco illustrated each phase of the project in detail, accompanying it with a visual account of the “before and after,” showing how the appearance of the new Chamber of Commerce headquarters will change in its dialogue with the central area of Treviso.
In his speech, President Mario Pozza thanked architect Trabucco for his dedication and vision in developing the project, the Secretary General and the offices, and Mayor Mario Conte for his constant support and commitment to promoting the Chamber’s project.
Mayor Conte, in turn, thanked the municipal offices involved and President Pozza for sharing the strategic idea of keeping the Chamber of Commerce in the city center, enhancing and redeveloping its presence.
It was also announced that, for a period of approximately two years, part of the Chamber of Commerce offices will be temporarily housed in Palazzo Da Borso, owned by the municipality, which is currently undergoing restoration work.
The press conference provided an important update for citizens and the media, helping to illustrate in a transparent and comprehensive manner a strategic project that is eagerly awaited by the community and marks a new phase for the Chamber of Commerce and the heart of the city of Treviso.
