NAME: ELI DECO’ DI ZANDEGIACOMO DE ZORZI ELIANA – Auronzo di Cadore (BL)
ACTIVITY according to the Business Register: “Decorations on ceramics, porcelain, wrought iron, wood.”
PRESENTATION: Eli Deco’, which started in 2014 in the commercial premises where my great-grandfather and grandfather produced handmade shoes, has evolved greatly over the last ten years: initially characterized by the handmade production of small and medium-sized furnishings and gifts (such as painted ceramics, decorated woodwork, and commissioned paintings), it has gradually transformed, thanks to the establishment of fundamental collaborative relationships with local entrepreneurs: woodworkers, interior designers, blacksmiths, and tilers. Drawing on the knowledge gained from my previous work experience in the fabric furnishing accessories sector at a company in Cortina, I have created a dense network of working relationships, which has allowed me to coordinate renovation work, enhancing both antique and new decorative elements.
SKILLS AND MOTIVATION: Eliana’s personal story conveys a message of particular value, not only for the world of entrepreneurship but for the entire community: the more we tend to neglect the culture of handmade products, the more small businesses and niche crafts gain economic and social relevance. A recognition of craftsmanship, capable of combining skill and simplicity with personal journeys, passions, entrepreneurial courage, and future prospects, offering creativity the space to express itself and transform into concrete opportunities for life and work.
