The exhibition From Picasso to Van Gogh. Stories of painting from abstraction to impressionism. Masterpieces from the Toledo Museum of Art, open until May 10 in Treviso at the Santa Caterina Museum, continues to be a great success with the public. The call center is available for information, reservations, ticket purchases, guided tours, and audio guides at 0422 429999.
Over the last two weeks, we have published a series of 50-second mini-presentations on Linea d’ombra’s various social media channels, in which the exhibition curator, Marco Goldin, gave a brief overview of six masterpieces included in the exhibition. We present them here in the same order: Richard Diebenkorn‘s abstract spaces, Claude Monet‘s water lilies, Edward Hopper‘s theater figures, the silence in Edgar Degas‘ painted face, Paul Gauguin‘s Tahitian landscape, and finally Vincent van Gogh‘s wheat field with reaper.
