Treviso, November 11, 2020. Great news: Italy wins with the video “Sulle ali della Camera: dove il talento è di casa” (On the wings of the Chamber: where talent is at home) in the “Olympic spirit – Olympic value Candido Cannavò Trophy” section of “Sport Movies&Tv 2020 – 38th Milano international FictsFest“ of the ”World FictsChallenge“ World Championship of Television, Cinema, Culture, and Sports Communication,” rejoices Chamber of Commerce President Mario Pozza. I also congratulate the other works competing with us, from the Russian Federation, Spain, and the Republic of China.
I share my full satisfaction with this promotion and relaunch project, which we believed in right from the start and began working on during the first lockdown to ensure we were ready for the upcoming Olympic events.
The team is one of a kind, we have created a network between the Italian and foreign chamber systems with the Italian Chambers of Commerce in New York, Tokyo, and Frankfurt and with the excellence of the Sportsystem such as Tecnica Group, S.C.A.R.P.A., EdeaSkatese with the Scarpone museum. We have commissioned the Treviso Film Commission and Zeta group for the artistic realization.
This team has been able to communicate and create a new video communication tool to promote companies and UNESCO heritage sites.
The Chamber of Commerce has the firm intention and mission, among its strategic projects, to be a driving force for the digital ecosystem, because while Covid may be stopping people, goods are still moving thanks to e-commerce. This is a solution that must be implemented immediately in order to keep our economy and our businesses going.
The inspiration came from the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Cortina – for which we thank President Zaia for making this dream come true.
The video project is structured around this major event, representing a true story: ski boots produced by Tecnica Group, a company of excellence based in Treviso, are ordered online via the innovative digital platform ‘Piazza Italia’ of the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce in New York, arriving directly in Tokyo thanks to the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Germany, our largest trading partner with the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce, is already liaising with Veneto companies for new projects.
Always supporting our businesses, continues Pozza, the Chamber of Commerce has never stopped and never wants to stop because it intends to keep working, offering businesses new ways of promotion and commercial relations which, today, this prestigious nomination confirms to be the right choice.

It is a great honor to receive this special recognition at the 2020 SPORT MOVIES & TV International Festival.
A great example of how to deal with events promptly and act with determination is, for us, President Ascani, the only Italian member of the IOC culture section, who in just a few days transformed the entire festival, which for 38 editions had always been held in person, into an online festival with 121 countries, maintaining most of the events: Speaking of great teams, sincere congratulations, as already acknowledged by President Thomas Bach and President Malagò, whom we invite to Treviso to visit our excellent SportSystem companies that fit the feet of the world’s greatest sports champions.
