The company based in Villorba posted a record first quarter with orders totaling €6.6 million (+55% compared to 2025). Orders in the food and retail sectors drove growth, with EBITDA reaching €598,000 (+65%). Revenue growth (+10%), driven by the “.one” platform designed to improve commercial processes and support services for retail chains, confirms the strength of the business model. CEO Giorgio De Nardi stated – Real people and AI agents work together to accelerate digital transformation and boost our clients’ profitability and competitiveness.

The Aton Group’s first-quarter 2026 figures speak for themselves: the digital transition is happening in Veneto. The tech company, headquartered in Villorba, in the Treviso area, closed the first three months of the year with strong growth, consolidating its leadership position in the high-end corporate digitalization market.

In the first quarter of the year, which is typically slow, Aton recorded orders totaling 6.6 million euros—a figure that not only represents a 55% improvement over the 2025 result but also exceeds the projected budget. Revenue reached €5.92 million (+10%), with the “.one” solutions division standing out in particular, recording a 17% increase with €440,000 in sales. The most significant indicator of financial health, however, is EBITDA, which stood at €598,000, marking a 65% increase.

Among the reasons for Aton’s strong start to the year are a series of new orders from the consumer goods market and from international clients in the fashion industry. The fastest-growing sector is that of sales-focused solutions in the food (both industrial and retail) and apparel sectors.

It should be noted that last year’s revenue stood at €26.7 million (+5% compared to 2024, at €25.4 million) and benefited from Aton’s acquisition of Teksmar. EBITDA also posted a robust result, reaching €3.2 million (-11% compared to the previous year). This decline was driven by increased R&D investments in new digital and AI specialists, a key decision supporting the Group’s long-term development.

The first-quarter figures confirm solid and structured growth, with an increase in EBITDA that reflects the efficiency of our processes  – comments Tania Zanatta, CFO of Aton. – We are particularly pleased with the response from foreign markets, where orders confirm the international competitiveness of our offering. The goal now is to further accelerate growth domestically as well, to align domestic market growth rates with those of foreign markets. This year, Italian companies can take advantage of the significant opportunity presented by hyper-amortization: a decisive tax incentive that allows them to invest in digitalization and AI while significantly reducing actual out-of-pocket costs and nearly halving ROI timelines. Now is the time to drive innovation, transforming these incentives into strategic assets for business growth.

At Aton, we have adopted a core principle: “I AM AI.” It is not just a slogan, but the realization that artificial intelligence (AI) will become the connective tissue of every business sector, revolutionizing work and organizational models – says Giorgio De Nardi, CEO of Aton. – We are facing epochal changes, and our choice is clear: the dinosaurs were swept away by an evolution they failed to interpret. On the contrary, we want to be agile and active protagonists of this transformation. Our goal is not to dwell on fears and challenges—which do exist and must be managed—but to drive forward with a positive and proactive vision. AI does not replace humans, but empowers them: we will invest heavily in this direction because we believe this technology is the greatest growth accelerator for our people ever seen in human history. By integrating AI into all our applications and processes, we will free human talent from repetitive and error-prone tasks, allowing everyone to evolve toward roles with greater added value. This is an exciting challenge that will drive Aton, our employees, and our partners toward new heights of efficiency and creativity: we aim to grow by offering our customers greater speed, precision, reliability, and value compared to current market standards.

Strategically, the company has already allocated capital to chart the course for the next three years, dedicating 7% of revenue, with the equivalent to approximately 1.8 million euros, exclusively to research and development with a focus on AI. At the heart of this financial commitment is the proprietary “.one” platform: a hybrid team comprising 40 flesh-and-blood software engineers and an unlimited number of AI agents, all dedicated to the accelerated development of the technology roadmap, with a vertical focus on the various sales channels and the underlying organizational processes.

Aton is more than just research; 284 people work to ensure the success of projects and business continuity for clients. Despite the widespread use of AI throughout 2025, the company’s workforce actually grew by 4.8%, with a net increase of 13 employees. Aton thus reaffirms its status as a B Corp capable of combining economic growth and digital innovation to achieve a positive impact on the local community, demonstrating that “Made in Italy” technology can compete with international Big Tech companies by focusing on empowering people through new technologies, with the strategic goal of a neo-humanistic economic renaissance.

THE HISTORY OF ATON

The Aton Group, which also includes “Blue Mobility” (IT solutions for logistics and the sales network of SMEs) and “Aton AllSpark Ibérica” (a Spanish joint venture between Aton and Allspark, an IT company specializing in the fashion retail market), reported revenue growth in 2024 to €25.4 million; in 2025 to €26.7 million (EBITDA €3.2 million). In January 2025, Teksmar, an IT company focused on retail, also joined the Aton Group. In November 2025, it signed a new joint venture agreement with GTN, a Friuli-based company that has been providing technological solutions for retail and foodservice for 50 years, thereby creating an Italian digital retail hub.

Today, the Group employs 284 people serving 750 clients worldwide, primarily in the following sectors: 39% in the consumer goods industry (clients include Granarolo, Segafredo, and GranTerre); 42% in large-scale retail and fashion (Aspiag, Unicomm, Bata, Salewa, and Gant); 19% in the energy sector (SHV, Liquigas).

Since 2018, Aton has been certified as a Great Place To Work® in Italy. In 2021, it became a Benefit Corporation and incorporated social (people), environmental (planet), and economic (prosperity) objectives into its articles of incorporation. In 2023, it joined the global community of B Corp-certified companies committed to a path of continuous improvement in the sustainability of their business. The company publishes an impact report annually.

The company’s strategic vision stems from founder and CEO Giorgio De Nardi, supported by the board—the collective management body—composed of executive team leaders from various corporate functions and an external consultant: finance with Tania Zanatta; sales: Gianluca Palmisano; people and corporate culture: Stefano Negroni; pre-sales and business development: Giovanni Bonamigo; the .one software industry: Piero Pescangegno; integration projects: Giovanni Pozzobon; support services: Marco Arrigoni; and staff coach: Moira Casonatto.

The business operates through consulting, services, and the .one software platform, offered as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution. Aton’s apps, integrated into .one and developed by an in-house team of 40 developers, cover all sales channels—from physical retail and wholesale stores to B2B and B2C e-commerce, and sales networks—while also ensuring product traceability.

The company offers software and services for managing sales-related processes, with a particular focus on distribution channels: from e-commerce to physical retail stores, including sales force automation, CRM, and customer relations. On the supply chain front, Aton provides software and services for monitoring and managing products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring traceability through RFID technology: track-and-trace solutions also adopted in sensitive contexts, such as international peacekeeping missions, thanks to strategic partnerships with global intergovernmental organizations.

A continuously growing team of 150 software professionals delivers projects for clients through analysis, consulting, and solution design; data integration; project and service management; remote management of software and hardware using enterprise mobility management platforms; on-site support and training; and multilingual support for users and software and hardware systems.

Through its hardware technical support services, Aton operates with a green approach, contributing to the extension of the lifecycle of a fleet of tens of thousands of devices within a circular economy framework, thereby reducing the amount of electronic waste.
