Mario Pozza, President of the Treviso–Belluno | Dolomites Chamber of Commerce and of Assocamerestero, opened today’s Chamber Council meeting, May 5, 2026, by paying tribute to the champion Alex Zanardi.
Following the President’s remarks, a moment of silence was observed, followed by a warm and heartfelt round of applause in memory of a great man and a figure of global stature.
The President announced the decision by the President of the Veneto Region to declare regional mourning and to fly the flag of the Veneto Region at half-mast.
