We’re welcoming the arrival of summer with a weekend dedicated to families and fun for kids: a new dinosaur-themed trail, DINOSAURS AND DINOSAUR CUBS; the “ingenious” trail featuring LEO DA VINCI’S MACHINES; and the ice cream and show combo that all families love so much, with the regular event UN POSTO ALL’OMBRA 2026.
SHOW:
On Sunday, June 21, at 5:00 p.m., as part of the UN POSTO ALL’OMBRA theater series at the open-air amphitheater in Parco degli Alberi Parlanti, the La Bottega Teatrale theater company will present a highly engaging production for children and adults alike.
An evil witch throws the love between the King and his princess into turmoil by making her vanish into thin air and transforming all the animals, houses, and inhabitants of the village. Fantastic characters come to the King’s rescue, but sometimes magic can go wrong—and that’s when the children’s help is needed to stop the Caterpillar, turned evil by the witch, who is about to eat all the grass in the village, leaving it barren and unproductive. Only thanks to the intervention of the young audience members will something extraordinary happen. La Bottega Teatrale theater company. A show featuring an actor, wooden silhouette puppets, and shadow puppetry.
Along with your free ticket, you’ll receive a fresh scoop of ice cream! Ice cream will be available starting at 4:30 p.m.!
- Admission: €7.00 for adults and children; reduced rate for grandparents: €5.00 | Free for children under 3

EXPERIENCES at the Parco degli Alberi Parlanti:
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the famous Cuccioli universe, on Saturday, the 20th, and Sunday, the 21st, the Parco degli Alberi Parlanti is enhancing its exhibition dedicated to dinosaurs and the DinoCuccioli with a new way to explore the exhibit, designed to engage children and families even more. Following the success of the self-guided tour “Discovering Dinosaurs,” DINOSAURS AND DINOCUCCIOLI is now available—a new challenge-based tour that invites visitors to test their skills with a series of games inspired by the characters from the beloved animated series “DinoCuccioli.”
On Saturday, June 20, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, June 21, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., children and their companions can pick up a game booklet at the ticket office and compete along the trail by earning points in the various challenges. At the end of the experience, the scores earned can be tallied and recorded on the special leaderboard set up at the Cedraia, adding an element of friendly competition and fun to the visit. Along the trail, visitors can admire life-size replicas of the dinosaurs that roamed the Earth up to 66 million years ago, learn fascinating facts about their world, and discover the work of paleontologists through engaging educational content accessible to all ages.
Participants can try their hand at five different games:
- BiliarDino, where each player has one minute to pocket as many balls as possible;
- DINO a Segno, a test of precision that involves aiming special rings at Bernoccolo’s neck;
- Dino Memory, the classic memory game featuring the eight adorable DinoCuccioli;
- Dentino’s Candies, which tests skill and dexterity in satisfying the little T-Rex’s sweet tooth;
- DinoOca, inspired by the traditional Game of the Goose, in which participants must reach the finish line while avoiding the squares that slow them down.
On Sunday, June 21, at 11:30 a.m., we’ll kick off the day with LEO DA VINCI’S MACHINES, a program for children ages 4 to 11 that combines logic, observation, and hands-on experiments, inspired by the genius of Leonardo. Participants will learn about and experiment with some of his most famous inventions, turning learning into an active and engaging experience. Duration: 75 minutes.
- Cost: “Dinosaurs and Baby Dinosaurs” €3 (self-guided tour) | “Leo da Vinci’s Machines” €7 for children, €5 for adults (guided tour).
