New frontiers for Belluno’s manufacturing sector: at Technowrapp in Fonzaso—a company specializing in the design and production of automatic pallet-wrapping machines and integrated end-of-line intralogistics solutions—the era of autonomous mobile robots, known internationally as AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), has begun. “This is a new, advanced technology that we are making available to our customers: in a rapidly changing world, we need innovative, fast, and high-performance solutions,” says Davide Ceccarelli, CEO of Technowrapp.
This new type of robot—which the company is currently integrating—will help businesses manage material flows between production/packaging and the warehouse, one of the most critical processes for any manufacturing company.
“With AMRs, we offer a solution that complements traditional conveyor-based and rail-guided systems,” explains Michele Bernardi, Marketing and Sales Director at Technowrapp. “The robot—equipped with sensors and scanners—is capable of receiving the pallet and navigating autonomously through production areas, avoiding both fixed and moving obstacles, and delivering it to the automated warehouse.”
