Treviso–Belluno, July 20, 2026. The new Board of the Treviso–Belluno | Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce took office today and, by unanimous acclamation, elected Francesco De Bettin, an industrialist, as President of the Chamber for the five-year term 2026–2031.
The election took place at the conclusion of the process to renew the Chamber’s governing bodies, which involved business organizations, labor unions, consumer associations, professional associations, the Veneto Region, and, of course, the Chamber’s offices.
Among its very first tasks, the Chamber Council will appoint the members of the Executive Committee and then define the multi-year strategic plan.
The President of the Veneto Region, Alberto Stefani, in extending his best wishes for their work, stated: “I am certain that the Chamber Council will operate with a strong sense of institutional responsibility to promote and develop the Treviso and Belluno areas, within a framework of loyal and fruitful collaboration with the Region.”
Remarks by the newly elected President, Engineer Francesco De Bettin.
“I am honored to receive this prestigious appointment from my fellow entrepreneurs and all other economic sectors in the provinces of Treviso and Belluno.
First and foremost, I would like to thank my friend Mario Pozza, who has led the organization with intelligence and integrity over the past ten years. I am committed to carrying out this public office—which is so important for the development of our region—with dedication and to the best of my abilities and expertise, with everyone’s help and in harmony with other institutions.”
