A wall of enthusiasm in Ca’ del Poggio for the transit of runners

San Pietro di Feletto (TV), 29 April 2025 – The mayor and, at his side, representatives of local associations. San Pietro di Feletto makes team and is preparing for the big day – Sunday, May 25 – when the Giro d’Italia will return to the Wall of Ca’ del Poggio for the eighth time, on the occasion of the fifteenth stage, the Veneto-Asiago river.

In recent days, in the municipality of San Pietro di Feletto, also present Alberto Stocco di Ca’ del Poggio, representatives of local associations that will help to animate the day of celebration on the wall: the Pro Loco of San Pietro di Feletto, the Polisportivo Valcervano di Bagnolo, the Quarta de Otobre, the Pro San Michele of Feletto, the Amici Antica Pieve, MotoProsecco and the Gruppo Giovani di Bagnolo.

Thanks to their commitment, the passage of the Giro d’Italia on the Wall of Ca’ del Poggio will be accompanied by the hospitality of a Grande Festa Rosa, open to all fans, which promises to renew the spectacle of the last transits of the riders on the iconic ascent through the vineyards. A framework estimated at twenty thousand people in both 2022 and 2024.

Waiting for the transit of the stage and then throughout the day, the climb to San Pietro di Feletto will be enriched with food and wine stands (churrasco and skewer), the music of deejay Radio Company, media partner of the event, the sympathy of the mascot Poggy, of great guests from the world of sport and entertainment and exceptional testimonials. The Giro d’Italia Caravan is expected on the Wall for 11, the passage of the stage will take place around 12.30 instead. The access to the Wall will be as always free, with ample parking at the foot of the climb. Also planned a maxi screen with the live of the stage.

The passage of the Giro d’Italia represents a great opportunity for our territory and is the symbol of a slow tourism and respectful of places. Ours is a wonderful but fragile territory, which from occasions like this receives international resonance, as it has happened with the sports twinning carried out in these years”.

The passage of the Giro d’Italia on the Wall of Ca’ di Poggio will also be an occasion of solidarity, with a fundraiser in favor of the Italian Association Progeria founded by Sammy Basso – whose parents will be present – and the association Collagene VI Italia Aps chaired by Giulia Da Re who lives right at the foot of the Wall, a group created by people suffering from degenerative neuromuscular diseases caused by sixth collagen deficiency.

Exactly one year since the last time (it was May 25, 2024) the great pink festival between the hills of Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage, is therefore ready to return in the frame of what can now be considered among the most classic climbs of the Giro d’Italia.

The Wall of Ca’ del Poggio – the only officially certified climb by the Italian Cycling Federation, twinned since 2016 with the Grammont Wall and from 2018 with the Mur-de-Bretagne, which in 2025 will host the arrival of a stage of the Tour de France – has unique characteristics. It develops for a little more than one kilometer on a completely paved road, with an average slope of 15% and tips of 19%. It is a decided, almost violent tear, that in 2025 also candids to be among the most spectacular and expected moments of the Giro d’Italia.

An authentic vertical show (at only 200 meters above sea level) that promises to recreate the magic of twenty thousand and more passionate that in the last editions have been the setting for the passage of runners through the vineyards. A river of passion on the day of the Great Pink Festival.
