Seven kilometres of glacial valley in the Dolomites
The Gares Valley is a magnificent glacial valley in the UNESCO Dolomites located at the foot of the Pale di San Martino in the municipality of Canale d’Agordo, Province of Belluno, Veneto Region.
The Gares Valley extends for about seven kilometres, starting from the last houses of Canale d’Agordo and following the course of the Torrente Liera, a tributary of the Biois.

For an unforgettable break, you must stop at the Rifugio Capanna Cima Comelle hut, which offers very good local dishes. One of their specialities is chestnuts with cream!
