Between Voltago Agordino and Agordo expands Val Sarzana, a valley to discover
Val Sarzana, located in the province of Belluno and crossed by the Sarzana river, lies between Voltago Agordino and Agordo.
This valley is characterised by the presence of metamorphic rocks and it is possible to find Aragonite, a white mineral known throughout the Belluno area, on the banks of the river.
The Voltago Agordino area is very famous, with a wealth of attractions and experiences to try.
Fun fact: the first ski lift in the entire Dolomites area was built in the Agordino area, which was later followed by the construction of the first facilities for the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo!
