The members of the Council and the Board of the Chamber of Commerce, with Vice-President Nadia Zampol, President Pozza and prof. Ascani have delivered in a crowded theater, in the presence of the civil and military authorities, high sports offices of Veneto and Lombardy, Fondazione Milano – Cortina2026, schools, mayors of awarded schools, of the sports champions the Guirland d’honneur to Josefa Idem, legend of the Italian and international sport, undisputed protagonist of the canoe. With an extraordinary career lasting over thirty years, no woman has ever competed in eight editions of the Olympic Games (world record) where she won five medals (1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze). After retiring, she took a political path as Minister for Sport and Youth Policy continuing to promote sport.
