Treviso – Belluno, July 31, 2026. The President of the Treviso-Belluno | Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce, Francesco De Bettin, welcomed the members of the new Chamber Executive Committee, elected by the Council for the 2026–2031 term.
I am truly delighted – said President Francesco De Bettin with satisfaction, – to welcome a renewed board that also brings with it the expertise required to navigate the complex field of public architecture. I hope that all of us will work with determination and confidence and, as I said in my inaugural address, that with courage and vision we will become the architects of our future, interpreting change in the spirit of subsidiarity rather than merely enduring it. May the value of each of us be fully expressed, so that together we can build a five-year term marked by quality and services worthy of the territories we represent. I therefore wish the members of the Executive Committee all the best in their work:
- Lara Caballini di Sassoferrato
- Margherita Vascellari
- Alberto Gava
- Andrea Scapinello
- Angelo Facchin
- Paolo Doglioni
- Paolo Marcon
The Executive Committee is the executive body of the Chamber of Commerce: it assists the President in the day-to-day and special management of the Chamber, deliberates on the use of resources, activity programs, and measures within its purview, and serves as the point of coordination among the various economic sectors in the region. It is also the body that, together with the Council, helps define the Chamber’s strategic direction for the entire term of office. As stated by President De Bettin, the Executive Committee and the Council will define the Chamber’s strategic and annual program guidelines, the initial assessments of which were made during the meeting on July 30.
In particular, the Executive Committee, composed of seven members, is responsible for: preparing, for the Council’s approval, the forecast and programmatic report, the budget, its updates, and the financial statements; adopting the measures necessary to implement the program of activities; deliberating on the Chamber of Commerce’s participation in consortia, companies, associations, special-purpose entities, and special services, as well as on the establishment of special-purpose entities and companies and on the divestiture of corporate holdings; and approving the establishment of branch offices. The Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce will be appointed during the first Executive Committee meeting.
The composition of the Executive Committee reflects the representation of the region’s economic sectors, ensuring institutional continuity and a diversity of expertise in the Chamber’s governance.
The issue of the Chamber’s headquarters in the building of Piazza Borsa
Closure and reorganization of Chamber offices
We have made a decision – says President Francesco De Bettin, – to close the headquarters in the Palazzo di Piazza Borsa for reasons of safety and to protect the health of our employees.
The decision to temporarily suspend operations at the Piazza Borsa office is not merely a formal procedure, but a choice prioritizing responsibility for the health and safety of the people who make up our organization. The protection of workers is the foundation of any public action; at the same time, the continuity of services to the local community will not be interrupted but will be swiftly adapted.
We are carefully evaluating various operational options to manage this transition phase, starting with our established institutional partnerships with the City of Treviso, specifically regarding Palazzo da Borso: the necessary procedures are being finalized, and we have been assured that the logistical and infrastructural adjustments will be completed shortly.
Within this evolving framework – the President concludes, – we are implementing a strategic optimization of the Chamber’s presence, enhancing the network’s existing operational hubs and restructuring the logistical framework of our various services to ensure maximum efficiency, while continuing to highlight the importance of Treviso’s historic center and expanding the development of our Belluno office. This dynamic approach necessarily involves the organizations currently housed at the Piazza Borsa location, as well as activities related to commodity trading and price surveys, which we will strive to maintain either in person or remotely. This reaffirms our commitment to the local community: that of an organization that is agile in its solutions, steadfast in its values, and constantly standing alongside those who produce, innovate, and generate value for our community.
