The IX PYMES Forum will kick off on Monday, October 20: Italian and Latin American companies come together to build new opportunities for economic cooperation

Set in the backdrop of Castelbrando in Cison di Valmarino (Treviso), the IX Foro Pymes, an important international event dedicated to the development and collaboration between Italian and Latin American SMEs, promoted by the Treviso–Belluno|Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce, Assocamerestero, IILA – International Italian-Latin American Organization, Unioncamere, and Venicepromex.

The event will bring together institutional, economic, and diplomatic representatives from Italy and Latin America with the aim of creating new economic and commercial synergies, promoting the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and investment opportunities in strategic sectors such as mechanics, agribusiness, biotechnology, and cycling.

The opening ceremony will be attended by:

Mario Pozza, President of Assocamerestero and the Treviso–Belluno|Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce

• Antonella Cavallari, Secretary General of IILA

• Andrea Prete, President of Unioncamere

• Luca De Carlo, President of the 9th Commission for Industry, Commerce, Tourism, Agriculture, and Agri-Food Production

• Representative of the Veneto Region

• Ligia Margarita Quessep Bitar, President of IILA and Ambassador of Colombia to Italy

• Romeu Zema, Governor of the State of Minas Gerais – Brazil

• Elio del Re, President of the Association of Metallurgical Industries of the Republic of Argentina (ADIMRA)

During the morning, economic cooperation agreements between Italian and Latin American institutions will be signed and the official program of the Forum will be presented.

The PYMES Forum is a concrete model of territorial economic diplomacy- said Mario Pozza, President of Assocamerestero and the Treviso–Belluno|Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce. Italian and Latin American SMEs can grow together, promoting innovation, sustainability, and roots in their territories. Treviso is sending a strong message of cooperation and mutual trust.

The program will continue on Tuesday, October 21, with thematic company visits to Veneto-based companies representing strategic sectors, and will conclude on Wednesday, October 22, with a session dedicated to SME support tools and new economic scenarios for internationalization, attended by representatives from ICE, MAECI, SACE, SIMEST, academia, and the business world.
