TREVISO

Treviso is a city of art, and has a strategic geographic position because it is located in the heart of the Venetian Po Valley, very close to seaside and mountain resorts thanks to the A27 highway (Venice-Belluno) and the Pedemontana highway.

Treviso is about 40 km from Venice, Jesolo and Caorle.

Treviso is about 100 km from the mountain resort of Belluno and about 130 km from Cortina D’Ampezzo.

It is close to Padua (56 km) and Verona (130 km), via an excellent public transport network and road and motorway network.

Treviso has the Airport Antonio Canova, only 6 km from the city centre, which you can reach thanks to the Treviso Airlink shuttle service, every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. a shuttle connects the airport to the centre.

The bus stops in Piazzale Duca d’Aosta in front of the railway station. To move within the province of Treviso by bus, you can use the the Local Public Transport network, called MOM.

To reach more distant destinations you can use Flixbus, whose stops are located next to the train station.

Below you will find some hints for reaching destinations and cities known throughout the world for having hosted famous people, artists and great personalities who loved so-called “Marca gioiosa et amorosa” (the joyful and loving Marca, the area of Treviso)

Treviso Airport Shuttle Bus: a great plus for our city

The Treviso Airport Shuttle Bus is a great plus for our city because it allows tourists to be taken into the city centre either to visit the city or to stay overnight by choosing a hotel in the city of art of Treviso.

The service is also useful for those intending to travel to Venice by train, by bus and FlixBus.

The citizens of Treviso can also use this service to easily reach the airport without having to leave their car in a car park.

Treviso – Cortina d’Ampezzo

Guidelines for getting to the mountain resort

The quickest way to reach Cortina d’Ampezzo from Treviso is certainly by car: in one hour and 40 minutes you can reach the town thanks to the A27 highway and the SS51 road.

The cheapest journey, however, is by bus: with FlixbusCortinaExpress and the seasonal line of public transport service ATVO takes two hours, but it is the cheapest and most convenient way. The lines leave from Venice and pass through Treviso Sud, at a stop near the shopping center – mall Sileamare.

To reach Cortina you can also use the service DolomitiBus which, again departing from Venice, stops at the Treviso bus station and operates throughout the winter holiday period.

Each transport service has its own customised mobile/web app that allows you to search for timetables and stops, buy tickets and keep up-to-date on your chosen route.

Download the mobile applications of FlixbusCortinaExpress and DolomitiBus , to make your journey even easier, or consult the timetables below:
