F.lli Canil Spa in Bessica di Loria, a leading company for over forty-five years in the international transport of liquid chemicals, was in the spotlight at the end of 2025 in two prestigious national contexts, where its commitment to gender inclusion and environmental sustainability was recognized.
On December 11, 2025, in Milan, Katty Canil, CEO, and Chiara Toso, CFO, received the Women Value Company 2025 award, a national recognition promoted by the Marisa Bellisario Foundation in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo. The award recognizes Italian companies committed to promoting female talent and implementing corporate policies that focus on gender equality and the well-being of their employees.
It is unusual for a transport company to receive this recognition. A few days earlier, on November 21, also in Milan, Canil received a special mention in the “Logistics Company of the Year” award, one of the leading national awards dedicated to excellence in the sector. The award was accepted by CEO Katty Canil and Human Resources Manager Andrea Silvestri.
The mention was awarded for innovation projects in the field of ESG and environmental sustainability, in particular for the use of HVO biofuel aimed at reducing fleet emissions; for the installation of photovoltaic panels on tank containers to support real-time visibility and temperature monitoring; for the construction of a photovoltaic system; for the drafting of the GHG report; and for the development of technological and digital solutions aimed at improving operational performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
