The words of President Pozza for the success of the award ceremony of the fourth edition of GenerAZIONE2026
It is with great pleasure that I share the great success of the award ceremony and inauguration of the fourth edition of GenerAZIONE2026. We are not just talking about a project, but a living and constantly evolving path, able to renew and expand every year. Among the novelties of this edition, stands out the Thematic Dossier, which represents the legacy of the project and which you can already consult in this newsletter.
The legacy of the project: this heritage is expressed not only through the Thematic Dossier, which collects and enhances the principles shared over the years, but also through the Docufilm that will be presented at the Venice Festival: an exciting tale of faces, dreams, experiences and visions for the future. During the event, we had the honor of being hosted in Benetton Studios, a symbol of creativity, enterprise and sport, for the conference “OLYMPIC VISION: INTERNATIONALITY AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT”, which was attended by distinguished speakers from the international delegation FICTS and CIO members.
Celebrations, shared culture and visions: we then experienced the inauguration in the central Piazza Borsa of the exhibitions with the building of the Chamber of Commerce dressed to party with the colors and symbols of GenerAZIONE2026. In this context, we also celebrated the UNESCO candidacy of Italian Cuisine, rewarding students and students of the Istituto Lepido Rocco, authentic ambassadors of the Italian Cuisine.
The day ended with a memorable event at the Teatro Mario del Monaco, with a sold-out attendance and authoritative representatives of the world sports and civil-military. On this occasion, by rewarding the girls and boys of the participating schools, I was able to announce a milestone of great importance: the start of work for an International Memorandum of Understanding between Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Chamber of Commerce ofBelluno|Dolomiti, Foreign Trade Association, FICTS, Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, Chulalongkorn University and Khunying Patama, member of the CIO and president of FICTS Thailand.
The agreement will offer new training opportunities for Italian and Thai students in business, sport and academia.
A project that enhances the territory: in these four years GenerAZIONE2026 has also fully implemented another strategic mission of the Chamber of Commerce: the promotion of the territory. The international delegations were able to get to know the excellent landscapes and culture of our territory: from the Prosecco Hills, UNESCO heritage, to Cortina, from Lake Misurina to the Venetian Villas, to Venice and Verona. We also visited 6 companies: TecnicaGroup, Scarpa, Latteria Soligo, Dersut Caffè, Tenuta Amadi and Benetton Studios.
GenerAZIONE2026 is now a concrete example of how schools, institutions, businesses and sports can work together to build shared, inclusive and lasting visions.
A heartfelt thanks goes to all school leaders, teachers, provincial school boards and the Regional School Office. A special thanks to the On. Elena Donazzan, who has supported this project since the first day, and today to the Regional Councillor Valeria Mantovan for the valuable support.
