Treviso, Nov. 2, 2023. I am pleased to share with the businesses of Treviso and Belluno the details of the mission to Vinitaly Edition 0 in Chicago and to New York at Piazza Italia: two extraordinary stops that were of paramount importance for institutional promotion  informs Mario Pozza, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti in his role as President of Venicepromex and Assocamerestero.

International Wine Expo Chicago in partnership with Vinitaly: The event, held in Chicago, marking Vinitaly’s debut in the United States, was attended by as many as 200 exhibitors, demonstrating an outstanding commitment to promoting the excellence of Italian wines. Meticulous preparation and impeccable organization were ensured by the Italian American Chamber of Commerce Midwest in Chicago – Italian American Chamber of Commerce Midwest whom I thank for the welcome reception. During this stage, the agreement signed with SIMEST and Assocamerestero to support Italian companies in their growth processes in foreign markets was presented, an agreement that I had the pleasure of signing in my role as president of Assocamerestero with Simest CEO Regina Corradini D’Arienzo.

Mission to New York at Piazza Italia: The second step of this mission took place in New York, at the prestigious Palazzo Italia atPiazza Italia also home to the New York – Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, a project desired by President Alberto Milani. This event was an extraordinary opportunity to promote “Made in Italy” as an elegant gateway to the United States, opening new business prospects. The Italian Chamber of Commerce in New York played a decisive role in organizing this mission, confirming its commitment to fostering the development of trade relations between the two countries. On this stage, “business-to-business” meetings were held in the jewelry sector. Extraordinary jewelry collections of the highest level were presented, proudly representing “Made in Vicenza” excellence. This collection captured the interest of U.S. buyers and will be the stage for future events in collaboration with Mirabilia and Italian UNESCO sites.

In conclusion, these missions are steps taken in the interest of promoting “Made in Italy” in the United States, bringing the local into the international, testifying to the ongoing commitment of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Chicago and the Italo America Chamber of Commerce in New York in fostering the development of trade relations between the two nations. The edition of Vinitaly in Chicago and Piazza Italia in New York have created new opportunities for the Italian sector, consolidating prime commercial ties between Italy and the U.S.
