Mario Pozza, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti:
The Italian Chambers of Commerce have been institutionally involved by the legislator, in supporting businesses for the double digital and ecological transition, we are strongly committed through the provision of resources both in Belluno and Treviso.
Last year, the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti co-financed a regional call for 9.5 million, which also benefited the companies of Belluno, which planned investments to modernise their energy supply systems.
Now we need to go a step further, for example by setting up Energy Communities starting with public consumers, businesses, and then private users.
Energy costs account for about 30% of the production costs of our companies and make our products less competitive.
Energy communities, the growth of renewable energy plants, research into energy production, and the fusion of the atom are the future; the establishment of energy communities and the development of renewables must become the present.
The Chamber of Treviso Belluno with the other public bodies of the Province is willing to put resources to accelerate these paths.
We are very interested in maintaining the competitiveness of our territories by speeding up the pathways that lead to reducing the costs of such an essential factor of production as energy.
