Treviso, 25 September 2021. It is not one of the usual meetings because the only Italian Member of the Culture and Heritage Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and
President of FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, Franco Ascani, has arrived in Treviso.
He was welcomed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce Mario Pozza and the President of Tecnica Group and Vice-President of Assindustria Veneto Centro Alberto Zanatta. The venue
was Villa Zuccareda Binetti in Montebelluna (Treviso), the operational headquarters of the Distretto Sportsystem led by Andrea Parisotto.
A meeting that looks ahead to the Milan – Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games, but that already gives life to the innovative project “ITALYMPICS Generation 2026” to which all the
attention of the institutions is directed: Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti, Veneto Region and Regional School Office, to create the culture of the spirit of
sport in young people, strong in the ethical values of which it is a great communicator.
This is a virtuous cultural cooperation in the fields of knowledge, education, sport – explains the President of the Chamber of Commerce Mario Pozza – It is our wish that the
business world be part of this project, which is part of a vision of corporate social responsibility. We want to communicate Olympic values at an international level thanks to successful companies
in the world of sport as ‘Generation 2026 Ambassadors’. It’s a dialogue that already started with the Foreign Chambers of Commerce Convention in 2019, with TecnicaGroup, Sportsystem and ficts.
Afterwards, we implemented effective awareness and communication actions, with the innovative video – project “On the Wings of the Chamber where talent is at home”, presented at the Venice Film
Festival and already winner of the “Candido Cannavò Award for Olympic Spirit”.
The video was selected at the Beijing International Sports Film Week where it will be screened in prime time on 23 October 2021. A great promotional tool for our companies, territories and
the reality of the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad.
I like this project, we believe in it and, as Chamber of Commerce with the Veneto Region, we have fielded forces and resources. It will also serve to activate an effective cultural strategy
– concludes Pozza – to combat ‘non-sporting’ attitudes, but above all, it will have a vision that looks at today’s youth as the future ‘2026 generation’.

Generation 2026” in projection of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Games has started. It becomes an incubator of ideas (from commercial to social implications) realized by FICTS together with the Chamber of
Commerce Treviso-Belluno | Dolomites in a perspective of environmental and social sustainability.
The aim is to stimulate entrepreneurial attractiveness in the area through sport and culture by involving the human resources and productive forces of the area concerned. “ITALYMPICS –
Generation 2026”, that is the fulcrum from which the forces in the field can start again “in a big way” with a presence among young people (Veneto Region and School) and, above all, in the business
world in which the territory in question is rich with investments through the international communication side that the FICTS has (in the 123 affiliated countries) for its uniqueness in the sports
sector as well as “the Treviso area” is unique worldwide -.
Our area is rich in companies that are international excellences in the world of sport and is linked to a history that has much to tell.
