It was presented to the press by the FICTS President Prof. Ascani, the programming of “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2021” Annual Final of 20 Festivals (in the 5 Continents) of the “World FICTS Challenge”,
World Championship of Television, Cinema, Communication and Sport Culture – in presence and streaming – in Milan from 9 to 14 November.
In the year of the great successes of Italian sport, “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2021” becomes a real “Festival of Sport” dedicated to young people to launch a message for a cultural reflection in
search of a new model of development that we need after Covid in view of the Winter Olympic Games Milan-Cortina 2026.
The Festival, qualified moment of meeting for worldwide Networks (including representatives of the 1.725 sport TV channels of the 5 Continents), new media, production houses, producers, etc., will
be articulated in prestigious venues in collaboration with cultural, sport and academic organizations, with the aim to restart “great” with 120 Projections (selected among 974 works, coming
from 55 Nations on 47 sport disciplines – see Schedule 1), 4 Meetings, 2 Workshops, 4 Exhibitions and the 5th Paralympic International FICTS Fest.
Due to the COVID-19 emergency, access will be limited this year. Attendance at all events (screenings, official ceremonies, etc.) is only permitted with a document certifying vaccination
(alternatively a tampon) and with
compulsory accreditation on www.sportmoviestv.com/accredito-festival/
