Argentina, April 3 2025 – In an international context marked by trade tensions and the introduction of new tariffs affecting Italian exports, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti, Venicepromex and Assocamerestero Mario Pozza, is facing missions abroad with the network of Italian Chambers of Commerce.

Just these days, the mission touches on Latin America and Central America, territories in which the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad are present with a consolidated network since 1885. The objective is clear: to promote Made in Italy, strengthen the presence of Italian companies and identify new market opportunities at a particularly strategic moment for export.

Our mission – said President Pozzacomes at a crucial moment for international trade. The difficulties associated with the tariffs imposed in the United States make it all more necessary to look closely at emerging markets and consolidate our presence in key areas such as Latin America and Central America. Here, thanks to the chamber network and collaboration with local institutions and entrepreneurs, we can create new business opportunities for our companies.

During the mission, institutional meetings with ambassadors, consuls and representatives of the economic local world were scheduled. In particular, President Pozza met the S.E. Italian Ambassador to Argentina  Fabrizio Lucentini and prominent representatives of the entrepreneurship community, with the aim of promoting new trade agreements and strengthening economic ties between Italy and Latin America.

Precisely to strengthen economic ties, we are already planning in these missions – informs Pozzathe meeting of the PYMES Forum (Italian – Latin America dialogue event on public policies, business opportunities and technological collaborations, focused on micro, small and medium enterprises and sustainable territorial development) that will take place in Treviso in October. It will be a unique opportunity for Italian companies and business operators with B2B and B2C meetings and company visits.

I invite all entrepreneurs to take advantage of this great opportunity – urged President Pozza –. We will bring to Treviso, in the prestigious headquarters of Castelbrando, operators from Central America, creating new business opportunities and access to new markets.

The presence of the network of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad is a strategic asset for the Italian business system, offering concrete support to companies that want to internationalize and face the challenges of global markets.
