Treviso, October 3, 2025 – Treviso is ready to host the eleventh edition of the half marathon. It was October 12, 2014 when former Italian champion Salvatore Bettiol launched the race over the classic distance of 21.097 km. It was an immediate success.

The event will be held for the eleventh time on Sunday, October 12, when – thanks also to the technical partnership with Diadora – the Treviso Half Marathon will bring thousands of enthusiasts to run on the classic route between the historic center and along the Sile, also crossing the municipal territories of Carbonera and Silea.

Participants will come from different parts of Italy and abroad. The goal is to confirm, and perhaps exceed, the numbers of the last editions (over 1,800 participants in 2024 between the half marathon and the 10 km open to all). It will also be the 5th edition of the Cristian Tonellato Trophy, a special award dedicated to the memory of a friend and collaborator of the Treviso Half Marathon, who passed away suddenly at the beginning of 2021.

“These days,” explains Bettiol, “we are receiving a large number of registrations, both for the Half Marathon and for the 10 km open to everyone. Registrations are going very well and confirm the growing trend of recent seasons. The goal is to improve on last year’s numbers, perhaps reaching two thousand registrations.
