What better way to discover the wines and attractions of wine tourism in the Veneto than by following its iconic Strade? A journey through the Denominations, with forays around local products of excellence, inside the culinary tradition and along an extraordinary land.

Go To Veneto, making its debut, is the first event entirely conceived and organised by the Regional Coordination of the Veneto Wine and Food Trails: ‘An event that I strongly desired,’ says the Regional President of the Coordination and President of the Prosecco Route, Isidoro Rebuli, ‘and that will contribute to stimulating and enhancing the sustainable promotion of the landscape, its history, its traditions and of course its typical products through an integrated, and for the first time, coordinated tourist offer.

It is, therefore, an on-the-road tour that goes in search of not only wines to taste, but also geographical areas to get to know and grape varieties to explore, and cultural and natural heritage to visit.
This is why, starting with a list of the Veneto’s DOCG and DOC wines is the best way to savour the true oenological and wine tourism essence of this region, which stands out for the variety and quality of its products, wines in primis, without forgetting the IGP champions such as the Red Radicchio of Treviso and Vialone Nano rice.

GoToVeneto will take place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April and will directly involve a number of Veneto Wine and Food Routes. A unique opportunity to visit the area and discover, or rediscover, its food and wine excellences: “An event realised in collaboration with the Region,” adds Rebuli, “that will certainly be able to catalyse the attention of demanding tourists and refined gourmets, and that will only grow in the future. We are convinced that the Strade are authentic taste itineraries capable of combining, expressing, and satisfying the pleasure of the senses, from that of taste to that of sight, ending with the spiritual! For the first time, we have networked a heritage of great value that speaks of us and was only waiting to be brought together.

During the two-day event, a selection of wineries and farms in the territories belonging to the Strade del Vino e dei Sapori will open their doors to the public to let visitors taste their products and give them the opportunity for a guided tour.

There will be two types of ticket (single day 20 euro; whole weekend 35).

Purchase is only possible online, via the Eventbrite website at https://bit.ly/3xkdQH1.
