Two events at the Collalto Tower in Susegana will kick off the fourth edition of “Armonie – Music in the Landscape, Music for the Landscape,” a festival that weaves together music, nature, and the promotion of the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene Prosecco Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For the fourth consecutive year, the Association for the Heritage of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, together with IPA Terre Alte della Marca Trevigiana, is presenting a rich series of concerts, with Banca della Marca and Banca Prealpi San Biagio serving as main sponsors.
The initiative features prominent figures from the Italian and international music scenes, while also providing a platform for young talents trained at the region’s excellent music schools.
The festival will kick off on June 19 and 21 at the picturesque Collalto Tower, a site of extraordinary charm that will be open to the public exclusively for “Armonie” and will host two opening events this year.
The first event is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, at 8:30 p.m. with “A forza di essere vento,” a concert dedicated to Fabrizio De André. The show, promoted in collaboration with Guitar International, offers an engaging journey through music, theater, and poetry, enriched with biographical notes, anecdotes, images, and narrative interludes that guide the audience through the most significant themes and songs of the great Genoese singer-songwriter. The stars of the evening will be the FDA Ensemble, eight musicians who will perform some of De André’s most beloved songs in an intense and captivating show.
On Sunday, June 21, as part of the International Music Festival, the Collalto Tower will host “Musica & Natura,” a double concert that will take the audience from sunset into the evening.
At 6:30 p.m., the Emotion for Change trio will take the stage. Since 2015, this musical ensemble has been sharing its fascination with the symphonic beauty of nature, with the goal of conveying messages of trust, inspiration, and proactivity through a harmonious and engaging musical language. The concert will feature Sara Michieletto on violin, Giorgio Schiavon on saxophone, and a special guest appearance by Jennifer Cabrera Fernandez on percussion.
The evening will continue at 9:00 p.m. with Erica Boschiero on vocals and guitar, accompanied by Stefano Cenci on keyboards. The artist will present her new show “Un posto sulla terra” (A Place on Earth), a musical journey that, through her songs, tells the story of the search for a place where one can finally feel at home, set against open, expansive melodies and the magic of her voice.
These two opening events mark the start of a new edition of “Armonie,” a festival that over the years has established itself as one of the most significant cultural events in the UNESCO territory, capable of highlighting places of extraordinary beauty through the universal language of music and of creating a dialogue between art, landscape and community.
