The winner is Andrea Ciccolella, 28 years old from Feltre, worker at Luxottica. He is the champion of the first Tiramisù World Cup. He wins with the traditional recipe made of
Savoiardi biscuits, eggs, mascarpone cheese, sugar, coffee and cocoa powder. To crown him Roberto “Lolli” Linguanotto.
He gets the better of 720 participants at this first edition of the Tiramisù World cup, event organized by Twiseen that involved the entire Treviso Province, attracting participants, judges and
audience from all over the world.
The selections held on Saturday in six different locations (Roncade Castle, Villa Emo in Fanzolo, Rotonda in Badoere, Conscio-Casale sul Sile, BHR Hotel Treviso and Tenuta Astoria in Refrontolo),
and 48 participants have been identified. After the semi-finals on Sunday morning, the big party started around 2 PM under the direction of Moreno Morello, at the Chamber of Commerce
Hall in Piazza Borsa, in the heart of Treviso.
The new World Champion has scored the best marks from the jury composed by institutions representatives, chefs and confectioners, sectorial international journalists, receiving the “toque blanche”
that crowned him as the definitive winner.
Following the names of the three other participants and their rank:
2) Valentina Sambo (34 years old) from di Chioggia, traditional recipe;
3) Michela Masiero (40 years old) from Rovigo, creative recipe;
4) Monica Michelin (46 years old) from Vedelago, creative recipe.
