Verona, April 7 2025 – The new guide of the Italian Touring Club dedicated to the Hills of prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and the other trerritories of the province of Treviso was officially presented at Vinitaly. A book that celebrates a territory of extraordinary beauty, recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO, and tells about its cultural, historical and enogastronomic peculiarities.

The meeting took place in the Veneto Region area and was attended by: Luca Zaia – President of the Veneto Region, Marina Montedoro – President of the Association for the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, Angelo Facchin – Cameral Counsellor of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Treviso–Belluno, and Ottavio Di Brizzi – Editorial Director of the Italian Touring Club.

“The Hills of Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene prove once again to be one of the greatest surprises among the Italian tourist destinations, with truly extraordinary numbers – affirms Luca Zaia –.The 2024 data record 528,763 presences, with an increase of +9.7% compared to 2023 and +18.7% compared to 2019. These results consolidate the territory as one of the most attractive destinations in the national tourist panorama. However, it is vital to continue with an authoritative and prestigious communication activity, capable of supporting a project that aims ever higher. In this context, the new guide of the Italian Touring Club is proposed as a valuable tool: not only it tells new aspects of this unique territory, but also becomes a cultural reference point for all those who wish to approach the gentle slopes of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, rich in history, traditions and cultural suggestions. A useful tool also in view of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics: the Hills will represent a strategic and central territory on the axis of an event of planetary scale, which will be followed by more than 3 billion people in the world.”

“It is with great pleasure – comments Marina Montedoro, President of the Association for the Heritage of the Hills of Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene – that we present this new guide of the Italian Touring Club, reference point in the national tourist publishing (industry), dedicated to the Hills of Prosecco pf Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a territory recognized as a World Heirtage Site by UNESCO for its extraordinary landscape and cultural value. The one dedicated to the Hills of Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene is the second title from Veneto after Belluno and its territory. In particular, this guide proposes four itineraries through the province of Treviso: the Hills of Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene; the city of Treviso, Monte Grappa, the Asolani Hills, Montello and the walled cities. In addition to landscapes and cultural insights, the guide offers a selection of more than one hundred slow addresses among quality restaurants, inns, hotels, wineries and shops, promoting a sustainable and conscious tourism, selected by Slow Food, Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, CIA and wineries from the Consortium for the Protection of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.

The guide was designed and commissioned by the Association for the heritage of the Hills of prosecco in Conegliano and valdobbiadene, given the historical value as well as the public interest achieved by the Touring Club with the aim of offering visitors a useful tool to discover paths, local attractions and traditions. The costs were borne by the Association for 50% and the remaining 50% was covered by CCIAA of Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti through a special tender. The initiative is part of the actions to enhance the territory of the Hills and Veneto, given the role of the Association as coordinator of UNESCO sites.

“Treviso, the Hills of Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, Monte Grappa and the walled cities: a mosaic of extraordinary places, where history is intertwined with nature and human ingenuity dialogues with the landscape – emphasizes Mario Pozza, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti.
