In addition to being a champion who represents the history of women’s skiing, Lindsey Vonn has shown great sensitivity by publicly complimenting the medical and nursing staff at the Cà Foncello hospital in Treviso. I am grateful to her on behalf of all the healthcare professionals who are treating her and who deserve this global thanks, not least because what they have done for a famous champion, they do with the same professionalism and commitment for every patient they take care of.
This is how the President of the Veneto Region, Alberto Stefani, commented on the compliments addressed to the Treviso healthcare workers by the ‘Snow Queen’ Lindsey Vonn, who was admitted to the Treviso hospital after her terrible fall in the Olympic downhill in Cortina.
