After the success of the previous three editions, the collaboration continues in 2025 between FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs (recognized by the International Olympic Committee), the Veneto Region, the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno | Dolomites, and the Chamber of Commerce of Verona, with the support of the Regional School Office for Veneto, for the realization of the fourth edition of the project “GenerAZIONE2026 – Sport powered by youth and education.” The initiative is open to Primary and Secondary Schools, both lower and upper, in the areas involved in the Games. The 2025 Program – which has already registered the free enrollment of 12.210 young participants from 38 Schools in Treviso-Belluno and Verona – is expected to generate a strong media, tourism, and economic impact, contributing to the promotion of the region’s image, thanks to the efforts of the Chambers of Commerce, extending beyond regional borders.
The educational project “GenerAZIONE2026,” structured with various proposals for Schools, is part of the Education Gen26 Program of the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation, which officially recognizes the activities of FICTS in Schools.
This is a series of initiatives organized into six thematic Sections and Sports Days promoted by the Veneto Region, designed to engage and inspire the new generations through educational and training experiences:
– “Emozione Sportivi di Classe” Screenings: interactive meetings for schools with videos dedicated to the Olympic and Paralympic world.
– Your Games in a Video: a creative workshop to tell the story of the Games through the eyes of young people.
– The City of the Games: an immersion in the cities symbolizing the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
– You Are a Champion of Sustainability: activities to promote responsible behaviors and environmental respect.
– Your Lifestyles: a path dedicated to well-being and healthy lifestyles.
– Education 4.0: an opportunity to explore the intersection of technology, sport, and education.
The activities offered provide participants with a wide range of experiences, from the “Games,” designed to stimulate healthy competition, to the “Olympic and Paralympic Values,” such as solidarity and mutual respect. Furthermore, the project aims to offer educational and professional pathways in the world of sports and major events, with a focus on the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The primary objective of the project – which saw the participation of 10.431 young people in 2024 and is expected to see a 20% increase in 2025, driven by the growing enthusiasm of Schools and Local Communities – is to highlight the spirit of Olympism through an educational approach that promotes active lifestyles, in which sport is understood not only as a means of promoting physical and mental well-being, but also as a tool for social inclusion and integration, and training through the direct involvement of young people.
“Sport as a formative and social vehicle” is the slogan of the “GenerAZIONE2026” project, offering an opportunity to bring young people closer to the Olympic and Paralympic values, forming conscious citizens and protagonists of an inclusive and sustainable future. Sport thus becomes a tool for personal growth, integration, and the promotion of physical and mental health, leaving a lasting cultural and social legacy in the spirit of Milano Cortina 2026.
The project, twinned with the “TROFEI DI MILANO CORTINA 2026,” also includes three days at the Arena Brera in Milan (May 7-8-9) with a significant participation from Schools in Veneto.
Prizes are up for grabs for Schools, Teachers, and participants. Official rules and free registration form: https://www.trevisobellunosystem.com/generazione-2026/
During the “Three Days” (June 5-6-7) (Venice | Verona | Treviso | Belluno), in the Veneto Region (co-hosted with Lombardy), an International Delegation of entrepreneurs, selected from the 130 Countries affiliated with FICTS, will be present to develop joint initiatives proposed by the “Working Table” identified in the “Memorandum of Understanding” signed by Mario Pozza, President of Assocamerestero – Association of the 86 Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad (CCIE) and Prof. Franco Ascani, President of FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs.
