“The consolidation of direct links between Venice and the main Canadian cities in the east Toronto and Montreal strengthens the cultural and economic ties that Air Transat has carried on since 2009 – said Tiziana Della Serra, MD Rephouse and Head Sales & Marketing – These seasonal flights from Venice represent a strategic offer for Veneto to Canada, stimulating both tourism and business opportunities in both directions”.
The flights will be operated by A330-300 or A330-200 aircraft, offering passengers maximum comfort during the transatlantic journey. The schedule has been designed to ensure convenient connections also in Canada.

“The summer recovery of Air Transat flights reflects a growth in traffic volumes that has characterized flows between Canada and our region in recent years – comments Camillo Bozzolo, Aviation Development Director of SAVE-Group. For the Venice airport catchment area, Canada is an important market, with volumes of traffic brought about by tourist flows, business and family reunification travel. The hope is that, even in view of the Olympics 2026 which represent an important event for the Canadian National Airlines, the company will extend flights also in the winter season”.
