Treviso, 27/04/2023 – The new edition of “Eccellenze in Digitale”, implemented by Unioncamere, kicks off thanks to a 1.4 million euro grant from Google.org and will support the training of entrepreneurs, workers, and jobseekers to increase their digital skills, with a special focus on the most topical topics such as, for example, cybersecurity. This initiative makes it possible to take advantage of free seminars, customised sessions and training webinars, organised by the Digital Enterprise Points spread throughout the Chambers of Commerce. In the 2020-2022 edition alone, more than 43 thousand people were trained with one thousand seminars organised throughout Italy.
The Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti,” highlights President Mario Pozza, “has always focused on the digital transformation of knowledge, production processes, and products of enterprises, as an indispensable asset to remain competitive, sustainable, and in harmony with the environment. The digital transition process is pervasive in several aspects that need to be deepened and applied. It is also fundamental, to approach this process of change in a choral manner so that it is a unified language and new thinking on the part of all the teams that collaborate within a company. For this reason, the chamber of commerce system with each chamber of commerce in the Veneto region is putting in place an extensive free training phase. Topics include online sales with marketplaces and e-commerce, cybersecurity, digital payment systems, tools for organising work remotely, project management for digital transformation, and business intelligence. Strategic topics to protect one’s own data, to know new sales channels to meet the new needs of customers and employees”.
The Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno takes part in the project and kicks off the activities for 2023 with the first of twenty-one training webinars to be held on 3 May from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., entitled “Remaining competitive in digital”. If the previous edition of the Eccellenze in Digitale project helped businesses face the pandemic using technology, the new edition aims to provide practical tools to consolidate the digitalisation of the production fabric in a medium and long-term vision.
For years now, Unioncamere and the Chambers of Commerce have been investing in the development of skills that enable micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to stay up-to-date, and for this reason they have been partnering with Google since 2013 to raise awareness, educate and strengthen their online presence.
The aim of the training sessions, which will take place throughout 2023 and until March 2024, is to provide specific skills so that through the correct use of digital tools the local economic system can remain competitive, while also paying particular attention to security and cost containment.
