Fonzaso, November 2, 2024 – A creative alchemy that transforms our ability to listen into a work of art: in Venice, art and industry meet to give life to a unique and innovative project.
Technowrapp, a company from Fonzaso (Belluno) that designs and custom manufactures systems for packaging and product handling within production and storage areas, presents the result of its collaboration with artist Matteo Vettorello as part of the “Alchimie Culturali” project, organized by Confindustria Veneto and Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa.
The initiative was created with the aim of bringing together Veneto companies and artists by developing original synergies, thanks to the fusion of business know-how with contemporary artistic expression, in order to experiment with productions of unpublished works.
The work is on display at Palazzetto Tito in Venice until November 24; free entrance.
It is a project for an interactive biometric sculpture: the sculpture becomes the conduit to activate a process of synergy between people, itself becoming a ritual space to foster connections between individuals and the environment. The device’s software is designed to quantify through the switching on of a series of lights the quality of relationships of users performing the breathing coordination exercise. The sculpture is activated only when it is experienced by a group of three people.
This collaboration is a concrete example of how art and industry can integrate and create added value for both worlds.
In fact, the work was born out of a discussion between artist and company with Technowrapp, which told its way of listening inside and outside the factory. For some time, in fact, the Fonzasina company has identified and named “Listenability,” a cultural movement aimed at fostering listening and internal contamination among employees. This allowed the artist to create a unique and innovative work that challenges the limits of creativity and artistic expression.
Seeing the representation of how we act and relate from an artistic point of view is a thrill every time. Art, people, industrial machines and values are in harmony for a common purpose: to show what we believe in, what we like to do, to represent a message we want to share explains Davide Ceccarelli CEO of Technowrapp personally involved with the development of the work. Contamination is innovation; only in this way can we continue to grow in the territory in a sustainable way.
The exhibition “Alchemical Relations. Art and business travel together” – curated by Stefano Coletto and conceived by Confindustria Veneto and Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa – can be visited every day from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 to 17:30 in the evocative setting of Palazzetto Tito.
