Prof.Ascani, congratulations for what and how you are able to do for the world of sport in your international representation here in Italy. I greet the FICTS international delegation, for me it is an honour to be among you as Coordinator of the COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIP Commission. Please convey my greetings to President Bach.
In recent years, the collaboration between Veneto Region and FICTS has grown. The GenerAZIONE2026 project was the forerunner of other projects with which, as of this year, we have the great satisfaction of collaborating. Like Gen26.
In my capacity as President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomites we are organising the third edition of GenerAZIONE2026.
The first novelty I have the pleasure to announce is that we will be doing this with another Olympic chamber: the Verona Chamber of Commerce, chaired by President Riello.
The second news I am proud to announce you is that, in my role as President of Assocamerestero, the association of the 86 Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad (CCIE) present in 63 countries, and of Unioncamere, I am pleased to communicate that, today, here in the headquarters of the Lombardy Region, I signed with Prof. Ascani, the Memorandum of Understanding between Assocamerestero and the FICTS. A protocol that intends to encourage participation and full involvement in FICTS initiatives in affiliated countries. Within the framework of this Agreement, FICTS will be able to realise operative agreements with the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad, for the development of services and activities that enhance the objectives that FICTS sets itself.
The Protocol – in the context of the promotion of Olympic values carried out by FICTS – is aimed at ensuring the involvement in FICTS initiatives, in order to maximise the promotion of Assocamerestero also in view of the next Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milan Cortina 2026.
