Treviso, 08 July 2019 – Today is a big day for Italy: Prosecco hills have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. This recognition reflects the efforts of our consortium and producers who
work in this challenging area.-says the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno |Dolomiti Mario Pozza.
This success is the result of an outstanding cooperation between the public and private sectors that enabled us to face this challenge,-points out President Pozza- thanks to the network
of our local enterprises we have achieved results of great significance such as Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics Games and the New World Heritage Status, of course.
Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno |Dolomiti never waivered in its determination to win this challenge and has strongly supported this process from the very beginning giving an important
contribution to this success.
I want to thank all the wine producers who create and shape the uniqueness of our landscape. Thanks to this special interaction between man and the environment, our cultural landscape is expected
to encourage tourism combined with gastronomic elements. The joint collaboration between our local enterprises and consortium will play an important role in boosting the local economy and manage
tourism.
In the end, I want to mention that the University can make an important contribution to the development of sustainable cultivations. Together we make the difference-concludes President
Pozza- together we can be considered a model for business and attractiveness.
