Treviso, 16 November 2023

Over the years, the support and cooperation that the Chamber of Commerce guarantees to the Municipality of Treviso for numerous cultural and entertainment events, including these, which are aimed at celebrating the magic of Christmas, have become increasingly consolidated. It is an ongoing commitment to enhance the city as a hub of collective and creative expression, – points out the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno| Dolomites Mario Pozza. – Places are adorned with twinkling lights and decorations, thanks also to the sponsoring companies, which I take this opportunity to thank, and with cultural and artistic content, which create an enveloping atmosphere that reflects the magic of the season. Christmas is therefore an expression of community, inclusion, and the beauty of feelings and places, which we promote by combining the appeal to tourists and seeking social cohesion and safety in an enveloping atmosphere.

Christmas in the neighbourhoods. In the neighbourhoods there will be solidarity markets, light trees, singing performances and community moments. The Municipality of Treviso, with a view to social responsibility and environmental sustainability, has decided to concretely help with an economic contribution a good part of the Christmas activities organised by the parishes independently.

Christmas is the most eagerly awaited time of the year and, with this rich programme, we wanted to create a particularly attractive context for children and families, focusing on music, colours and the talent of the many artists who will perform, –  says Treviso Mayor Mario Conte. – I can only thank our teammates, from institutional to commercial partners, who have strongly believed in our Christmas programme and who have made it possible to organise this event, making it more and more sustainable. The beauty of our festively dressed City also wants to represent a message of peace and inclusion. In addition, also this year, with a view to saving energy, we have planned to switch off the illuminations at midnight. I would like to applaud our shopkeepers for being proactive and participating, actively contributing, in synergy with councillor Vettoretti and the Productive Activities Sector, to the beautification of our City.

The “Enchanted Christmas” is a wonderful tradition that allows us to experience the magic of our city dressed up for the holidays, –  says CentroMarca Banca President Tiziano Cenedese. An interlude of peace that will envelop us all, offering opportunities to meet, to share smiles, of families coming together to celebrate love and hope. We will all gather under a big tree that sings the praises of peace and that we have helped to bring to the city because it has an essential meaning: its branches represent the beauty of togetherness as much as the art, culture, history and traditions of the city, which, here in Treviso, are treasures that we want to preserve and celebrate because they are expressions of our pride and identity.

We are truly delighted to take part in this packed series of events that will bring the magic of Christmas to the heart of Treviso. We will do so by bringing our values as a family business, with strong roots in the Veneto region, to an area that we have had the pleasure of serving for over 20 years, – says Marco Canella, Financial Director of Alì S.p.A.

Partners of the Enchanted Christmas 2023 are: Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomites, Veneto Imprese Unite, Confcommercio Treviso, CentroMarca Bank, Alì Supermarkets, Prosecco Doc Italian Genio.
