Treviso, Milan, October 8, 2025 – An important recognition for the Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce, which at the “Sport Movies & TV – Milan International FICTS Festival, created by Prof. Franco Ascani and attended by Minister AndreaAbodi, CONI National President Luciano Buonfiglio, and Fondazione Fiera Milano President Giovanni Bozzetti, received the international jury award for the documentary film Il Sesto Cerchio (The Sixth Circle), shot in Treviso and Milan with actors and crew from Treviso.
A great work and a great recognition for a five-year commitment – said President Mario Pozza from Singapore, who spoke remotely during the ceremony to greet Professor Ascani and the authorities present in Milan.
President Pozza emphasized how this award represents a tangible sign of the value of the progress made over the last five years for our region, in view of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The award was presented by Andrea Monti, Chief Communications Officer of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, and accepted by Chamber Vice President Nadia Zampol, who said – Receiving this award is very exciting. The Sixth Circle is the result of a journey we have taken together, one that speaks of passion, commitment, and the future. Thanks to President Pozza, Professor Ascani, and the entire GenerAZIONE2026 team.
The award given by the International Jury (made up of jurors from countries that do not participate in SPORTMOVIES) takes on even greater significance, as Prof. Franco Ascani points out, for having grasped the important message that the film conveys, not only to the younger generation.
The documentary film Il Sesto Cerchio is the legacy of the “GenerAZIONE2026” project, a symbol of continuity and the future, already looking ahead to the post-Olympic and Paralympic Games in Milan Cortina 2026.
Now we are ready– added Pozza– to play with GenerAZIONE2026 and experience this extraordinary opportunity that the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games represent for our region.
